Working as a board member of UK industry organisation Cinema First, Hossein helped to create a national campaign to support the UK film industry through the first year of the Covid crisis in 2020.
The group commissioned national audience data and insights reports to inform the strategy of the #LoveCinema campaign, which aimed to keep customers engaged with the film release calendar changes, updated safety measures and cinema reopening dates.
Hossein was part of a core group orchestrating the creation of the #LoveCinema trailer by Empire Design, which required rights approval from every major film studio in the UK and US. PR support was provided by DDA and a digital media campaign was procured through Mediacom. Hossein was also interviewed on BBC News as a key spokesperson to help launch the campaign.
